His Legacy… Delvin Robert Burkett, 87, passed away January 2, 2021.  He was born on May 5, 1933, in Wyandotte, Michigan to John Burkett and Pearl (Seiloff) Burkett. Delvin married the love of his life, Barbara (Minton) Burkett, on June 20, 1975, in Whitmore Lake, Michigan. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.  Del was well loved in his community and considered the LCWCC club his extended family.  He was a Buckeye fan and would tease his friends when Ohio State would beat Michigan.  Del also spent time going hunting and fishing but most of all, enjoyed being around his friends and family.  He will be remembered as a fun loving, caring and “super” man.

His Family… Del will be missed by his wife, Barbara Burkett; his children, Steve Burkett, Cathy McCleary, Cari Lynn Wills; grandchildren, Kelly McCleary, Michael (Gina) McCleary, Bryan Wills; many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Pearl Burkett and his three sisters.

His Farewell… Public family and friend gathering on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 from 5:00-8:00pm at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Hamburg Chapel. His private farewell service will be held on Thursday, January 7, 2021.
