Her Legacy… Diane Leigh Greenwood, 74, passed away August 26, 2021. She was born on February 3, 1947 in Sheboygan, Wisconsin to Raymond Quasius Sr. and Lorett(Maratic) Quasius. Diane married the love of her life, Chuck Greenwood, on July 20,1968 in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. A devoted wife, mother, “Grammie” and friend, Diane enjoyed drinking beer and dining on cheeseburgers while laughing and socializing. She was a woman of a million careers who never sat still, even while battling Multiple Sclerosis for 40 years. She will be remembered for her unshakeable Catholic faith and personal grace. Though her family grieves her loss, we are comforted to think of Jesus and His angels trying to keep up with her hustle and bustle.  

Her Family… Diane will be missed by her husband, Chuck; her children, Jason (Laura) Greenwood of Phoenix, Arizona, Vanessa (Kevin) Tessmer of Lowell, Michigan, and Mackenzie (Steve) Van Riper of Brighton, Michigan; siblings, Dennis Quasius and Heidi Quasius-Batzner; grandchildren, Lillian & Morgan Greenwood, Jackson & Sienna Tessmer, and Mia, Shane, Vivian & Claire Van Riper. She is preceded in death by her brother, Raymond Quasius Jr. and her sister, Suzy Watson. 

Her Farewell… Diane’s family and friends will be gathering for a funeral Mass on Friday, September 3, 2021, at 12pm at Christ the King Catholic Church in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Father Ed Fride will serve as celebrant and Deacon Dan Foley will be the homilist. A viewing will take place from 10:30am to noon in “St. John Paul the Great” room. There will be a private burial later in the day in Brighton, Michigan. In lieu of flowers, we ask that donations be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society or Right to Life of Michigan in Diane’s name. Please leave a message of comfort for Diane’s family at 1-877-231-7900, or sign her guestbook at www.borekjennings.com
