Her Legacy… Dixie Barbas, 83, passed away January 4, 2025. She was born on January 4, 1942, in Vassar, Michigan, to Nick and Susanne Marx. She will be remembered as a devoted and loving mother as well as a great cook. She cherished being home with her family and following some of her favorite sports teams; Detroit Tigers, Pittsburg Steelers and the Dallas Cowboys. Dixie enjoyed taking her boys to games out of state and spending time in Frankenmuth.
Her Family… Dixie will be missed by her children, Chris (Jennifer) Barbas and James (Courtney) Barbas; Sisters, Onalee and Cindy; grandchildren, Arius, Maksim, Caspian, Kristina; great grandchildren Skylar, Ethan and Hannah. She is preceded in death by her parents Nick and Susanne Marx; brother, Nick Marx; son, Donald Schultz, granddaughter, Carina.
