His Legacy… Donald Russel Paschal, 86, passed away November 6, 2023.  He was born on March 2, 1937, in Montgomery, Alabama to Andrew Paschal and Avery (Bell) Paschal. After his first wife Shirley passed away, Donald married Sandra Fitzpatrick, on November 10, 1984, in Ypsilanti, Michigan. Donald worked for Ford Motor Company for over 40 years and truly enjoyed his work there. He was a hard worker, honest to a fault, and could be mischievous at times. Donald was an honorable Christian and worshipped at Fellowship Baptist of Whitmore Lake. He was a former member of Ypsilanti Missionary Baptist Church. Donald enjoyed hunting, fishing and shooting skeet.  He was a talented woodworker, refinishing furniture, and building 2 of his own homes. He loved staying busy and working around the house. Donald was a loving husband, father, son and grandfather and will be deeply missed by his family.

His Family… Donald will be missed by his children, Donald Dwayne (Paula) Paschal, Robert (Laura) Fitzpatrick, Mary Southern; grandchildren, Weston (Beth) Paschal, Andrew (Josie) Paschal, Sarah Paschal, Stephanie Fitzpatrick, Chris (Wendy) Fitzpatrick; Todd Southern, Tracy Southern; great grandchildren, Noah, Madison, Connor, August, Lucy, Lennox, Gage, Ryan, Emily, Austin, Mckenzie.  He is preceded in death by his first wife, Shirley Paschal; wife, Sandra Paschal; parents, Andrew and Avery Paschal; brothers, Noble Paschal, David Paschal, Lonnie Paschal, Albert Paschal; and sister, Azalee Reynolds.

His Farewell… Donald’s family and friends will gather Sunday, November 12, 2023, from 3:00PM-6:00PM at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Hamburg Chapel. His Community Farewell will be held on Monday, November 13, at 11:00AM (10AM gathering), at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Hamburg Chapel. Pastor Dr. Lee Taylor will serve as celebrant.
