His Legacy… Donald Robert Rogowski Sr., 82, passed away peacefully at his home on June 10, 2025.  He was born on June 5, 1943, in Detroit, Michigan to Joseph Rogowski and Mary (Krol) Rogowski. Donald married the love of his life, Dorothy Bucholtz, on June 15, 1963, in Detroit, Michigan. Donald had a career in maintenance at Ford Automotive for 35 years. He also volunteered with both the Dearborn Heights & Hamburg police departments. Donald loved sports and played both baseball and softball throughout his life. He followed his children’s and grandchildren’s sports for decades. Donald was very laid back and easy going. He cherished his family and always put them first. Donald was a joy to know and he will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

His Family… Donald will be missed by his wife, Dorothy Rogowski; his children, Thomas Rogowski, David (Val) Rogowski, Donald (Mia) Rogowski Jr.; grandchildren, Mitchel (Mary) Rogowski, Patrick Rogowski; great-grandchildren, Isla Rogowski & Esme Rogowski.  He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Mary Rogowski; and brother, Joseph Rogowski.

His Farewell… Donald’s family and friends will gather Monday, June 16, 2025, from 4PM-8PM (6PM Rosary) at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Hamburg Chapel. His Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at 11AM (10AM gathering), at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, Brighton, Michigan. Fr. Jonathan Perrotta will serve as celebrant.
