Her Legacy… Donna Sue Steiger, 85, passed away March 26, 2025.  She was born on September 7, 1939, in Wayne, Michigan to Harold Kinnamon and Dorothy (Hawthorne) Kinnamon. Donna married the love of her life, Dexter Steiger, on August 6, 1960, in Wayne, Michigan. Donna had beautiful red hair and freckles, a nod to her Scotch-Irish roots, and a smile that would light up a room. She was the leader of her family and built a strong family base. Donna and her family enjoyed many camping trips all over the United States, where many wonderful memories were made. She loved adventures, she spent a month long vacation in Europe, and traveled often. She had a condo in Florida within walking distance of the Cape Canaveral cruise port and went on many cruises. Donna was very social and enjoyed going to the casino, shopping, taking bowling trips with her girlfriends, and book clubs. She adored her grandchildren and was very close with all of them. Donna was a joy to know and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Her Family… Donna will be missed by her husband, Dexter Steiger; her children, Sheri Dreffs, Linda Steiger, Adam (Jackie) Steiger; siblings, Dale “Eddie” Kinnamon, Evva Rue, Toni Crespo; grandchildren, Joel Steiger, Alyssa Dreffs, Nakomi Burgett, Joshua (Anne) Palmer, Heather (David) Hoffman, John Lamb Jr., Mariah Steiger; great grandchildren, Liam, Nathan, Jagger, Lyndsey, Josephine, Caleb, Eleanor, Skylar, Magnus, Rowen, Willow, James, and Calvin. She is preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Dorothy Kinnamon; and son-in-law, Chris Dreffs.

Her Farewell… Donna’s family and friends will gather Thursday, April 10, 2025, from 4:00PM-7:00PM (6PM Rosary), at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Hamburg Chapel. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, April 11, 2025, at 11:00AM (10AM gathering), at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, Brighton, Michigan. Fr. Jonathan Perrotta will serve as celebrant. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
