Her Legacy… Doris Ann Bell, 89, passed away May 27, 2023.  She was born on September 8, 1933, in Chelsea, Michigan to Lionel Vickers and Emma (Perry) Vickers. Doris married the love of her life, Charles Bell, in December of 1951, in Chelsea, Michigan. Doris worked for many years at Hancock Fabrics, and loved to sew. She enjoyed being on a bowling league and playing bunco. Doris never missed watching the Kentucky Derby on TV. She was a homebody and an avid reader. Doris was dearly loved by her family and will be greatly missed.

Her Family… Doris will be missed by her children, Doug Bell, Jeanine Bell, Diann Moses; grandchildren, Michelle (Jim), Christopher (Michelle), Rebecca (Christopher), Laura, Andrea; great grandchildren, Alex, Mikayla, Cole, and Macey. She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Bell; parents, Lionel and Emma Vickers; sons, John Bell and Daniel Bell.

Her Farewell… Doris’s Community Farewell will be held on Thursday, June 1, 2023, at 11:00AM (10AM gathering), at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Hamburg Chapel. Her burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Dexter, Michigan. Pastor Dan Quagliata will serve as celebrant. Memorial contributions are suggested to Livingston County Humane Society.
