Her Legacy… Doris Elizabeth Sell, 100, passed away April 21, 2025.  She was born on December 16, 1924, in Detroit, Michigan to Charles Myers and Isabelle (Fisher) Myers. Doris married the love of her life, Ferdinand Sell, on June 29, 1946 in Detroit. She enjoyed all that life had to offer with activities such as, rafting, snowmobiling, riding four-wheelers, and traveling. Doris had a sweet tooth especially for ice cream and Hersey bars. She will be remembered for her generosity and good-hearted nature, as well as being feisty and a lot of fun. Everyone at the nursing facility said she was the life of the party and will be dearly missed.

Her Family… Doris will be missed by her loving children, Nancy (Edward) White Jr., Sandra (Ralph) Sharp, Ed (Patricia) Sell, Janet (Art) Harden, Karen (David) Dambach, daughter in law, Kathie Sell; grandchildren Joseph, Heather, Jon, Michael E., Emily, Michael D., Megan, Mark, Chelsea, Nathan, Steven, Christine; along with 12 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Ferdinand; son, Charles Sell; parents, Charles and Isabelle Myers.

Her Farewell… Doris’s family and friends will gather at 11:00 AM (1:00 PM Service) until her time of service on Saturday, April 26, 2025 Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Howell Memorial Chapel in Howell, Michigan. Pastor Ken Greble will serve as celebrant.
