Her Legacy… Dorothy Ann Raucher, 84, passed away February 3, 2020.  She was born on June 14, 1935, in Detroit, Michigan to James McGarry and Dorothy (Hardy) McGarry. Dorothy shared many loving years with her husband, Ralph Raucher, who will miss her deeply.  Her only granddaughter was treasured beyond measure.  Dorothy had a wonderful friendly disposition and will be remembered for her love of all animals.  Anytime she came across a dog, she would greet them with a cookie that she always carried with her.  Dorothy was strong, loving, and determined.  She will be missed by all who knew her.

Her Family… Dorothy will be missed by her loving husband, Ralph Raucher; her daughters, Debra A. (Brian) Bayley, and Laura C. (Garry) Morgan; adored granddaughter, Laura Elizabeth Bayley.  Dorothy was the oldest of 11 children and sister to: the late Ed (Vi) McGarry, the late Norma (late Clyde) Whittey, Mary (late Jerry) Hamilton, Larry (Linda) McGarry, twins; Linda (late Al) Ciak, the late Lela (late Bob) Hamilton, Chuck (late Elaine) McGarry, Mike (Irene) McGarry, Jack (John) McGarry, Dan (Linda) McGarry, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Her Farewell… Dorothy’s family and friends will gather Friday, February 7, 2020 from 10:00am until time of service at 12:00pm for a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 440 E. Washington Street, Howell, Michigan. Father Dave Speicher will serve as celebrant.
