Her Legacy… Dorothy Ellen Ulman, 90, passed away June 30, 2020.  She was born on March 15, 1930, in Alpena, Michigan to William Hebdidge and May (DeRosia) Hebdidge. Dorothy married the love of her life, Theodore Duane Ulman, on November 19, 1947, in Detroit, Michigan. Theodore (Dewey) passed away on July 3, 2019.  He and Dorothy were married for 70 plus years and enjoyed many adventures together.  They loved to entertain and have friends and family over for a game of cards.  Going to the casinos and traveling to Las Vegas were favorite trips together.  Dorothy and Dewey had many business partnerships together over the years including snow removal and horses.  They had a great life together full of love, family and friends. 

Dorothy loved to grow vegetables, had a dry sense of humor and was “Queen” of the Red Hat Society in her neighborhood.  Dewey loved to go to the horse and dog tracks, was an avid investor and retired from the Detroit Police Department.  Together they built a life of memories for everyone who knew them. 

Their Family… Dorothy and Dewey will be missed by their children, William (Maureen-deceased) Ulman, Katherine Ulman, Larry (Michele) Ulman, Marilyn (Rick) Heins; 8 grandchildren; and 17 great grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Dewey; her siblings and parents.
