His Legacy… Douglas Stephen Fisher, age 63, passed away December 1, 2020. He was born on November 4, 1957 in Detroit, MI to Douglas and Deanne (Morse) Fisher. Doug married the love of his life, Regina “Jeannie” Riley on October 15, 1977 in Garden City, MI. He was involved in the UAW Local 1776. In his spare time, he enjoyed golfing at Chemung Hills in Howell. Most of all, Doug loved spending time with his family. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
His Family… Doug leaves behind his wife, Jeannie; sons, Craig (Juli) Fisher, Joseph (Michelle) Fisher; grandchildren, Mallory (Ryan) Avalos, Zachary Defries, Jacob Defries, Jordyn Fisher, Kylie Morefield, Benjamin Fisher, Dylan Fisher, Amelia Fisher, Adalynn Fisher; and great granddaughter, Payton Mae Avalos. He is also survived by his stepmother, Gail Fisher; siblings, David Fisher, Donna Fisher (Douglass Spencer), and stepsisters, Kim and Cathy. Doug is preceded in death by his parents, Douglas Fisher and Deanne McCoy; stepfather, Bill McCoy; father-in-law, Vernon Riley; mother-in-law, Ruth Riley; and brothers-in-law, Sam Riley and Gary Riley.
His Farewell… Doug’s farewell will be held privately on Saturday, December 5, 2020 at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Lamb Chapel. Steve Douglas will serve as Celebrant.
