His Legacy… Douglas Jon Kaiser, 46, passed away February 13, 2025. He was born on May 19, 1978, in Superior Twp, Michigan to Gary Kaiser and Deborah (Moore) Kaiser. Doug was a journeyman and a proud member of the local union 80 of sheet, metal, air, rail and transportation workers. Doug enjoyed traveling, camping, long road trips and being outdoors. He was very adventurous; he once co-piloted a hot air balloon and also went skydiving. Doug was an animal lover and always had a wide variety of pets. He built a waterfall and a beautiful koi pond in his backyard. Doug loved spending time with his father, tending to their vegetable garden, and laughing with his mother. He had a tough exterior, but the softest heart. Doug deeply loved his family and adored his nephews; he was a proud uncle. Doug will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
His Family… Doug will be missed by his parents, Gary and Deb Kaiser; brother, Greg (Mae) Kaiser; nephews, Edwin and Everett Kaiser; numerous cousins; many close friends and union brothers; and his beloved dog, Cesar. He is preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents; and numerous aunts and uncles.
His Farewell… Doug’s family and friends will gather Thursday, February 27, 2025, from 1:00PM-6:00PM, at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Hamburg Chapel. His Community Farewell will follow at 6:00PM. Pastor Dan Quagliata will serve as celebrant. Memorial contributions are suggested to Always Hope Animal Rescue.
