Douglas Mark Siemieniak

His Legacy… Douglas Mark Siemieniak, 65, passed away July 1, 2026.  He was born on July 15, 1960, in Allen Park, Michigan to Richard and Alice (Nabonzy) Siemieniak. Douglas married the love of his life, Kristine Kimball, on January 21st, 2000, in Key West, Florida.  Doug joined Oscar W. Larson in October 1985 when their office was located on M-59 (Highland Road). He began his career with the company as an auto mechanic, maintaining Larson fleet vehicles and equipment. After a few years in that role, he transitioned to a Service Technician, where he spent the remainder of his career. Throughout his more than 40 years with the company, Doug was widely respected for his mechanical expertise and his willingness to help others. He was often the first-person fellow technicians called when faced with a difficult equipment issue, and he never hesitated to share his knowledge or personally step in to help solve the problem. Doug also built lasting friendships with many colleagues over the years and will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of working with him. Doug was a true Jeep enthusiast, he took great pride in his CJ7, he spent countless hours driving it, working on it, and making it his own. His garage was his happy place where there was always another project waiting. From repairing engines to fixing up a four-wheeler alongside his beloved son, Kaydyn, those moments together were among his most treasured. Above all else, he was a devoted father. He never missed one of Kaydyn's hockey games, always cheering from the stands with pride and unwavering support. He also loved spending time outdoors, especially fishing, where he found peace and relaxation. Growing up, many of his happiest childhood memories were made at Camp Dearborn. Some of his favorite memories were made aboard cruise ships, traveling with his beloved wife Kristine and friends, Mike and Gena, creating countless stories and sharing endless laughter along the way. Whether Jimmy Buffett was playing in the background or he was dreaming of their next getaway. He will be remembered for his generous heart, his willingness to lend a helping hand, his knack for fixing just about anything, and the love he poured into his family and friends. His laughter, adventurous spirit, and the countless memories he created with those he loved will be cherished forever.

His Family… Doug will be missed by his wife, Kristine Siemieniak; his son, Kaydyn Siemieniak; siblings; Dave (Beth) Siemieniak and Don (Tiziana) Siemieniak and his 2 grand dogs Gustav and Sasha. He is preceded in death by his parents Richard and Alice Siemieniak, brother Denny Siemieniak and sister Sue Williams

His Farewell… Doug’s family and friends will gather on July 15, 2026, from 4:00PM-8:00PM at Borek Jennings Funeral Homes, Hamburg, Michigan. Please wear your Hawaiian shirt to the visitation to honor Doug and his love for Jimmy Buffett.
