Duane "Butch" Bennett

Born July 23, 1943. Died August 08, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Sheri, two sons, Trevor (Staci) and Derek (Jessica), and four grandchildren: Dylan, Noah, Ava, and Luc. Siblings: Alice, Tiny, Manely/Pete, Rocky (Gwen), and many nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Manley and Velma, his son Blain, his sister Beverly, and his brother-in-laws, Don and Herold. Butch was a member of the Hamburg Fire Dept, the Bennetts Beavers, and the Timber Trace Golf Course. He worked at R&B Manufacturing for 47 years. In retirement, he started Pucks by Butch. He enjoyed many sports, including hockey, softball, and golf. Butch was a lifelong resident of the Hamburg/ Pinckney area. He will be deeply missed. Butch’s family and friends will gather on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Borek Jennings Funeral Home in Hamburg, Michigan. His Community Farewell will be held on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at 11:00 AM (Preceded by a 10:00 AM gathering) at Borek Jennings Funeral Home in Hamburg, Michigan.
