His Legacy… Dwayne Alton Sauls, 50, passed away May 5, 2022. He was born on April 25, 1972, in Ann Arbor, Michigan to Phillip Sauls and Jane (Birckelbaw) Miller. Dwayne served in the US Army following his graduation from Brighton High School in 1990. After his honorable discharge, he attended Nashville Auto Diesel College, graduating in 1996. He had many interests including his love of camping, driving trucks, wood working, and driving the steam engine in the Christmas in the Ville Parade. Dwayne was hard working, and was very caring of others. He loved his family, especially his daughter Taylor, and spending time with and teasing his grandkids, nieces, and nephews.
His Family… Dwayne will be missed by his significant other, Lynda Johnson; his children, Taylor Sauls, Brandon (Kayla) Johnson, and Kyle Johnson; mother, Jane (Richard) Miller; siblings, Dan (Jasmine) Sauls and Laura (Bill) Rabideau; grandchildren, Joshua, Addison, and Ashley, many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his father, Phillip Sauls.
His Farewell… Dwayne’s family and friends will gather Monday, May 9, 2022, 3:00pm – 7:00pm, at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Lamb Chapel, Howell, Michigan. His Community Farewell will follow at 7:00pm. Memorial contributions may be given to the Michigan Steam Engine and Threshers Club.
