Her Legacy… Elizabeth Jane Milosch, 84, passed away April 6, 2024. She was born on September 30, 1939, in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee to Bert Lee Bailey and Birdie (Johnson) Bailey. Jane grew up on a tobacco and cotton farm in Tennessee, moving to Michigan when she was 12 years old. Jane married the love of her life, Marshall Milosch, on July 13, 1957, in Wayne, Michigan. Marshall adored Jane and always called her “the prettiest girl in Wayne”. Jane held many different jobs at different points of her life. She was an office manager at Terry Barr Sales, an antique dealer, and owned 2 nail salons with her daughter. Jane was the former president of Livingston County Women’s Association and also worked tirelessly for MHIA. She was an avid golfer and past president of the Women’s League at the Lakelands Golf & Country Club. Jane loved any kind of board or card game, and she almost always won. She was a good, loyal and trustworthy friend who was very charitable with her time and resources. Jane was incredibly social and never met a stranger. She loved life and loved to laugh. Jane was also an avid fan of retail therapy. She was a devout Catholic and adored her family. Jane was dearly loved by her family and friends and will be greatly missed.
Her Family… Jane will be missed by her children, Gregory (Suzanne) Milosch, Linda Lukanowski, Stephen Milosch; siblings, Mary Ann (Bill) Snodgrass, Fred Bailey; brother-in-law, Rick Ussery; grandchildren, Sarah Milosch, Alex (Braydon) Dennis, Blake (Greg) Johnson; great grandchildren, Kennedy, Scottie Lou, Bo and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Mac Milosch; parents, Bert and Birdie Bailey; sister, Brenda Ussery; sister-in-law, Bonnie Bailey; and her beloved dog, Rocky.
Her Farewell… Jane’s family and friends will gather, Thursday, April 18, 2024 from 3PM-8PM, at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Hamburg Chapel. Her Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, April 19, 2024, at 10:30AM (9:30 gathering), at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Brighton, Michigan. Father Mathias Thelen will serve as celebrant.
