His Legacy… Ethan Michael McGuire, 17, passed away February 10, 2025.  He was born on September 17, 2007, in Ann Arbor, Michigan to Michael McGuire and Heather (Clark) McGuire.  Ethan was on the Varsity Soccer Team at Pinckney High School and worked weekends at Kroger.  He loved photography, drawing, and was a talented juggler.  Ethan was a huge movie buff and very knowledgeable with movie facts.  He enjoyed fishing with his grandpa Clark up north and going to Scoops ice cream shoppe in Alpena.  Many wonderful memories were made traveling to Florida for family vacations.  Ethan was quiet and reserved, but also could be quite the jokester who liked to play pranks, especially on his sister.  Ethan enjoyed playing games, doing puzzles, and family movie nights.  Ethan was close with his sister and they enjoyed spending time together.  Ethan was adored by his family and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.  

His Family… Ethan will be missed by his parents, Michael and Heather McGuire; sister, Isabelle McGuire; grandparents, Chuck and Valerie Clark, Richard and Doreen McGuire; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.  He is preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Cheryl McGuire.  

His Farewell… Ethan’s family and friends will gather Sunday, February 16, 2025, from 3:00PM-7:00PM, at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Hamburg Chapel.  His Community Farewell will be held on Monday, February 17, 2025, at 11:00AM (10AM gathering), at Shalom Lutheran Church, Pinckney, MI.  Pastor Dan Quagliata will serve as celebrant.  Please leave a message of comfort for Ethan’s family at 1-877-231-7900, or sign his guestbook at www.borekjennings.com.
