His Legacy… Eugene Stanley Kuchna, 85, passed away October 30, 2025.  He was born on October 21, 1940, in Detroit, MI to Stanley Kuchna and Cecilia (Karpinski) Kuchna. Eugene married the love of his life, Mary Jane (Meehan) Kuchna, on August 1st, 1959, in Detroit, Michigan.  He will be remembered as a loving, joyful, larger-than-life family man. His greatest joy was his family and his wife. On his best days, you could find him joking while camping, hunting, or fishing - unless the Tigers were playing. He was a committed member of the Knights of Columbus and dedicated 7 years of service in the Navy and an additional year in the Air Force.

His Family… Eugene will be missed by his children, Steve (Debra) Kuchna and Laureen (Michael) Walker; his sisters, Annette Kulek, Maryann (Dennis) Kaminski; grandchildren, Valerie (Chris), Stephanie (Ernie) Walker, Myles (Marcia) Kuchna, Angela (Steve Hall) Kuchna; great grandson Maximillian; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife Mary Jane; parents Stanley and Cecelia; and his grandson Chad.

His Farewell… Eugene’s family and friends will gather for a Celebration of Life on Saturday, November 8, 2025 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the Elks Lodge #2168, 2830 E. Grand River Howell, MI 48843.
