Florence Jean (Seabolt) Metzler

Her Legacy… Florence Jean (Seabolt) Metzler, 64, passed away July 27, 2022.  She was born on March 21, 1958, in Chicago, Illinois to William Seabolt and Norma Jean Justice. Florence married the love of her life, William, on October 12, 1985, in Whittier, California. She will be remembered as a down-to-earth, feisty woman of strong Christian faith who was fully engaged in life. She loved music, singing, dancing, and volunteering to support her kids in all of their sports and school activities.  She was amazingly detail oriented and organized.  Florence enjoyed family vacations to amusement parks, trips to the casino, and was a very loyal friend. Her infectious laughter that sprung from her rich sense of humor will ring in the ears and hearts of her family and friends forever.

Her Family… Florence will be missed by her husband Bill; her children, Greg (Brittany) Metzler, and Sam Metzler; siblings, Rhonda Marek, Dianne Slabach, and Paul Seabolt; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father William Seabolt Sr., and her brother Bill Seabolt Jr.

Her Farewell… Florence’s family and friends will gather from 12-3 pm on Friday August 5 at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Lamb Chapel in Howell, Michigan.
