Her Legacy… Florence Murphy, 86, passed away August 30, 2020.  She was born on February 13, 1934, in Detroit, Michigan to Dominic Ricci and Mary (Militello) Ricci. Florence married the love of her life, Richard Murphy, on June 1, 1957 in Detroit, Michigan. She will be remembered as a kind, compassionate woman, who adored her family and loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She loved to be out on the water, be it swimming or in a boat. Florence always had something nice to say about anyone and truly enjoyed being around loved ones and friends.

Her Family… Florence will be missed by her children, Michael (Michelle) Murphy, Marianne (Tim) Schultz; siblings, Paula (Ricci) Barrington, and Danny (Cathy) Ricci; grandchildren Sean and Kaitlyn Murphy and Tim Schultz (Sharon), and Kristina (Kurt) Borek; great grandchildren David, Sarah and Aaron and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by parents Dominic Ricci and Mary (Militello) Ricci, husband Richard Murphy and son Patrick Murphy.

Her Farewell… Florence’s family and friends will gather Friday, September 4, 2020 at 11:00am with a 1:00PM service at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Hamburg Chapel..
