Her Legacy… Frances Irene Click, 90, passed away on July 25th, 2026. She was born on February 1st, 1936, in Excelsior, West Virginia to George and Lydia (Mahone) Evans. Frances married the love of her life, Arthur Clinton Click, on July 30th, 1954, in War, West Virginia. Irene lived a life centered on giving. Her home was more than a house, it was a place of comfort, laughter, and refuge. Her door was always open to anyone who needed a warm meal, a listening ear, or simply a place to belong. She never hesitated to put others before herself, and her generosity left a lasting impact on countless lives. Her family was the center of her world. She lovingly helped raise her sisters' children, caring for them as though they were her own. Her love and guidance shaped generations, and the lessons she taught through her actions will live on in those she nurtured. She found great joy in spending time with her family, whether celebrating milestones, sharing stories, or simply enjoying each other's company. Her presence brought people together, and every gathering was brighter because she was there. She was affectionately known as the "Boss" among her siblings a title she wore proudly. Feisty, determined, and never afraid to speak her mind, she led with both strength and love. Beneath her spirited personality was a patient, compassionate heart that welcomed everyone with understanding and grace. A devoted member of Chilson Hills Church, her faith was an important part of her life. She faithfully served her church family, living out her beliefs through kindness, generosity, and a servant's heart. She had a passion for volleyball and was an enthusiastic University of Michigan football fan. Game days were filled with excitement, cheering on her beloved Wolverines with pride and enthusiasm. One of her signature trademarks was her lipstick. She was rarely, if ever, seen without it. It reflected her confidence, her vibrant personality, and the grace with which she carried herself. Those who knew her will always remember that beautiful smile framed by her favorite shade of lipstick. She will be remembered as a loving mom, sister, devoted aunt, faithful friend. Her legacy is one of unconditional love, selfless giving, unwavering faith, and fierce devotion to those she loved.
