Her Legacy…Genevieve Posuniak, 89, passed away May 19, 2020. She was born on January 3, 1931, in Detroit, Michigan to John Kulongowski from Russia and Stephanie (Kozikowski) Kulongowski from Poland. Genevieve married the love of her life, Joseph Walter Posuniak, 1950, in Detroit, Michigan. She will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Genevieve was an avid quilter and gardener. She gave unwavering love and happiness to her friends and family but especially loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Her Family…Genevieve will be missed by her children, David J. Posuniak, Joel (Mary) Posuniak, Annmarie Posuniak, and Mary Alice Dahl. Her grandchildren, Michelle (and Ryan) Briggs, Stephanie (and David) Seery, Aaron (and Erin) Posuniak, Timothy Posuniak, Benjamin Posuniak, Nicholas (and Taylor) Posuniak, Gabriel Gregory, Alina Gregory, Cadis (Olivia) Dahl, and Natalie Dahl; She is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph and her parents, John and Stephanie Kulongowski and her siblings: Paul, Julian, Steven, Walter, Anthony, John, Chester, Edward and Stella;

Her Farewell… Genevieve’s Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2020 at 2PM (gathering 1PM) at St. Mary Catholic Church in Pinckney, MI. In Genevieve’s honor, memorial contributions are suggested to either the Society of The Little Flower or Compassionate Hospice of Brighton, Michigan.
