George Fox Roberts

His Legacy…George Fox Roberts, 62, passed away on July 5th, 2026.  He was born on July 28th, 1963, in Livonia, Michigan to David and Dorothy (Sanders) Roberts. George married the love of his life, Pennie Buchinger, on October 19th, 1987, in Pinckney, Michigan. George will be remembered as a devoted father who always puts his family first. He took great pride in carrying on the same profession as several members of his family, continuing a tradition built on commitment, perseverance, and honest work. He believed that a job well done spoke for itself and earned the respect of everyone who knew him. Outside of work, he found his greatest peace sitting around a campfire on his swing while listening to music and sharing stories with family and friends, those moments brought him happiness and lasting memories. He was deeply loved by his family and friends and will be greatly missed.

His Family… George will be missed by his wife; Pennie Roberts, his children; Dorothea (Carl) Schmidt, George (Breanna) Roberts and Jessica (Stephen) Peltier, his Siblings; Robert (Brenda) Roberts, Catherine (Doug) Neel, Mike Roberts, Patrica (Doug) Braidwood, Brenda Jasper and Linda Sedel, grandchildren; William and Skylar Schmidt, brother-in-law John Reifschneider. He is preceded in death by his parents David and Dorothy Roberts, brother David A. Roberts, sister Sarah Reifschneider and sister-in-law Barbara Roberts.

His Farewell… George’s family and friends will gather privately. John Reifschneider will serve as celebrant.
