Her Legacy… Geraldine Diana Brighton, 85, passed away September 18, 2022.  She was born on March 24, 1937, in Detroit, Michigan to Michael Kopek and Helen (Koscielniak) Kopek. Geraldine married the love of her life, Charles A. Brighton, on June 18, 1960, in Detroit, Michigan. She will be remembered as a beloved wife, mother and grandmother.  Geraldine loved being in the fresh outdoors and was an avid gardener. She was very social and would enjoy visiting with her neighbors.  Her grandchildren meant the world to her and she enjoyed spending time with her family.  She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Her Family… Geraldine will be missed by her husband, Charles; her children, Shelley (Jeffrey ) DiMiceli; sister, Sandy Evans; grandchildren, Ashley (Kenny Crawford) DiMiceli, Jonathan (Molly Fox) DiMiceli, Amanda (Nicholas Roush) DiMiceli; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Michael and Helen Kopek; brothers; James Kopek and Michael Kopek.
