Her Legacy… Gloria Jean Pierson, 80, passed away May 16, 2026.  She was born on December 7, 1945, in Galesburg, Illinois to Robert and Alice Woodside. Gloria married the love of her life, Ted Pierson, on, June 13, 1964, in, Wayne, Michigan. Gloria was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed baking, cooking, crafting, sewing, quilting, and scrapbooking. Gloria often made beautiful handmade items to sell at the Senior Center’s Christmas Bizarre. She enjoyed spending time at the Senior Center playing cards with friends. She loved to shop and frequent garage sales. Gloria loved her church at Immanuel Baptist Church and always looked forward to the monthly potluck. Gloria was adored by her family and friends and will be deeply missed.

Her Family… Gloria will be missed by her husband, Ted Pierson; her children, Theodore Pierson II, Christopher (Nicole) Pierson, Thomas (Melissa) Pierson, Michael Pierson, William Pierson; brothers, Kenneth (Kathy) Woodside, Paul Woodside; grandchildren, Katie, Garrett, Colby, Ireland, Alaina, Luna, Jay, John; great-grandchildren, Ayden and Melissa.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Alice Woodside; daughter-in-law, Barbara Pierson; and granddaughters, Margaret, Bessie, Elizabeth and Ashley.

Her Farewell… Gloria’s Community Farewell will take place on Friday, May 22, 2026, at 12:00PM (10AM-12PM gathering), at Borek Jennings Funeral Homes, Hamburg, Michigan. Pastor Joe Ryckman will serve as celebrant.
