His Legacy… Gregory Melvin Gaynor, 66, passed away May 6, 2026. He was born on April 20, 1960, in Cheboygan, Michigan to Melvin and Shirley (Paige) Gaynor. Gregory married the love of his life, Patricia Miller, on April 12, 1985, in Clarkston, Michigan. Gregory will be remembered as someone who was a true outdoorsman at heart. Whether he was out hunting in the woods, fishing on a quiet lake, or simply enjoying the beauty of nature. He also had a deep love for motorcycles and cherished every ride, enjoying freedom and adventure. A proud Michigan Football and Detroit Lions fan through every season, always cheering on his team with passion and hope. He was known for his endless jokes, bringing laughter wherever he went. His sense of humor, storytelling, and ability to make others smile will be remembered by all who knew him. Above all else, he treasured his family and friends. He loved gathering with loved ones, sharing stories, making memories, and enjoying the simple moments together. He leaves behind a legacy of hard work, laughter, love, and unforgettable memories He was deeply loved by his family and friends and will be greatly missed by many.
His Family… Gregory will be missed by his wife, Patricia Gaynor, his mother Shirley Gaynor; grandchildren, Evelyn, Devon, Tristian, Braydon, Payton, Elizabeth, Alex, Sophie, Zander, Aggie, Koran, Aysia, Brianna and Jake, and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father Melvin Gaynor, his children Josh, Jeremy and Jennifer Gaynor, brother Jerry Gaynor and sister Beverly Bavier.
