His Legacy… Gregory Joseph Martin, age 84, of Livonia, Michigan, passed away peacefully on December 29, 2025.  He was born in Detroit, Michigan to the late Charles Martin and Mary Martin.  Greg worked at Detroit Sterling Hardware in his younger years, and then as a welder at General Motors for 29 years before retiring in 2005. He enjoyed bowling, singing, and playing golf and was well known for his sense of humor. He was often the life of the party and was loved by all who knew him.

His Family… Gregory is survived by his three children: Jeanie (Sheldon) Miller, Deborah (Michael) Giblin, and Steven Martin; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren, and his former wife, Doris Martin, with whom he remained close friends. He is also survived by his sister Susan, his brother Jon, and several nieces and nephews.

He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. In accordance with Greg’s wishes, there will be no funeral or visitation. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
