His Legacy…Gregory Nortley, 74, passed away October 12, 2025. He was born on April 26, 1951, in Tecumseh, Michigan to Joseph Nortley and Ethel (Ebersole) Nortley. Greg honorably served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Greg married the love of his life, Elizabeth Henry, on June 8, 1979, in Horton Bay, Michigan. Greg was an electrician and loved his career; he owned his own company called Nortley Electric. He also spent time as a traveling electrician, ultimately ending up in Ann Arbor. Greg was a “jack of all trades” and was always willing to help. He enjoyed being an outdoor Pitmaster and loved camping, huge colorful bonfires, and Bud Light. Greg adored his grandchildren and was dearly loved by his family and friends and will be greatly missed.
His Family… Greg will be missed by his wife, Elizabeth Nortley; his children, Cheryl Rocker, Brad Nortley, Jessica (Joshua) Galle; siblings, JoAnn Nortley, Linda Nortley, Tom Nortley, Michael Nortley; grandchildren, Raqiyah, Kiarra, Ty, Abigail, Braylen, Ella, Blakely; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Ethel Nortley; and siblings, Joseph Nortley, Karen Risner, Gerald Nortley and Mary Renkiewicz.
