His Legacy… Harold John Richard Becker, 98, passed away July 8, 2020.  He was born on August 23, 1921, in New Haven, Connecticut to Harold Becker and Hilda (Pinto) Becker. Harold married the love of his life, Dorothy (Woedke) Becker, on October 3, 1944, in Camp Lejune, North Carolina.   He will be remembered as a wonderful, loving and dynamic man.  Harold accomplished a lot in his long life including fighting in World War II and in the Korean war.  He was the test pilot for corsair aircrafts along with being the oldest living pilot to have flown corsairs.  Harold was a lover of outdoors. Enjoyed hunting, skiing and fishing.  No one could slow him down, he was always busy.  He loved his family and always took favorites to his daughters.  Harold will be deeply missed by all who knew him. 

His Family… Harold will be missed by his children, Deane Becker Moss, Harold (Heather) Becker Jr., Albert (Drew) Becker, Susan Becker (Daniel) DeGroote; grandchildren, Devin Moss (John) Weiss, Tamara (Bart) Becker Miller, Blythe Becker (Joe) Pongracz, MacKenzie Becker, Jack Becker, Mallory Becker, Brooke Becker, Thomas (Tobe) Becker, Lindsey (Brian) Greaney, Erin DeGroote, Steven DeGroote; great grandchildren, Kira Kreutzbender, Alexi Kreutzbender, Isabella Pongracz, Burke Pongracz, Vivian Sullivan, Cheyenne Sullivan, Jack Greaney, Henry Greaney; great great grandchildren; Willow Androsian. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Dorothy Becker; 2^nd wife, Sandria Becker; daughter, Leslie Becker.

His Farewell… Harold’s family and friends will gather Wednesday, July 15, 2020 at 3:00pm till time of service at 6:00pm at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Hamburg Chapel.
