Her Legacy… Helen Augusta Smith, 98, passed away March 22, 2020. She was born on December 9, 1921, in Pontiac, Michigan to John and Daisy (Davis) Aland. Helen married the love of her life, Ernest Charles Smith, on November 12, 1939, in Detroit, Michigan. She will be remembered for her love of bingo, crafts, puzzles, gardening, walking and collecting coins.

Her Family… Helen will be missed by her son; Robert Smith, granddaughter; Kimberly Hogrebe, great grandchildren; Nicole, Amy, Heather, Melinda, four great great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by beloved husband; Ernest C. Smith, children; Helen E. Stevens, Mark John Smith, grandson; Denis Gerald Stevens, parents; John and Daisy Aland, and siblings; Florence Alt, and John Aland.  

Her Farewell… A private service will be held in her memory.
