Her Legacy… Ila June Stelter, 94, passed away September 16, 2023.  She was born on July 18, 1929, in Ubly, Michigan to Frank Slack and Zelma (Behr) Slack. Ila married the love of her life, Donald Stelter, in March of 1957, in Detroit, Michigan. Ila worked as a key puncher at Ford Motor Company. She was a homebody who enjoyed staying home and caring for her daughter. Ila had a great sense of humor. She enjoyed doing word searches, puzzles and quilting. Ila loved her cats and her dogs, Coco and Buddy. Ila was dearly loved by her family and friends and will be deeply missed.

Her Family… Ila will be missed by her daughter Diana (Richard) Bourbeau; grandchildren, Michael, Jay, Megan; great-grandson, Dylan. She is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Stelter; parents, Frank and Zelma Slack; brothers, Bill, Robert, Wayne; sisters, Bernice, Norma, Donna; and grandson, Chad.
