Irene Miriam Campbell

Her Legacy… Irene Miriam Campbell, 66, passed away April 20, 2021.  She was born on October 24, 1954, in Detroit, Michigan to Richard Campbell and Beverly (Wells) Campbell. Irene graduated from Wayne State University School of Mortuary Science in 1991 and was proud to be one of Michigan’s first female licensed morticians.  Irene was a member of the Michigan Funeral Directors Assoc.  She worked at David C. Brown Funeral Home and was a partner in Bell-Borek Funeral Home. She was a member of the Eastern Star.  She loved to host family parties and enjoyed crafts, painting, cooking, and canning. 

Her Family… Irene will be missed by her husband, Sam Campbell and her children, Virgil, Gordon, and Irene.  She is also survived by her siblings, Richard (Victoria) Campbell, Margaret (Brian) Bell, Ella Hardman.  She is preceded in death by her parents and her daughter Dixie Bell
