Her Legacy… Irene Sophia Dudek, 88, passed away October 24, 2022.  She was born on September 13, 1934, in Detroit, Michigan to Henry Tritsch and Julia (Werlin) Tritsch. Irene married the love of her life, George Dudek, on June 23, 1952 at St. Theresa Catholic Church, in Detroit, Michigan. She will be remembered as a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother.  Irene enjoyed gardening, decorating the house with each season, taking art classes, reading, motorcycle trips with her husband, singing in the choir at church and shopping.  She loved spending time with her family during holiday gatherings, cookouts and vacations. Irene was a woman of great faith and was part of her church for more than 40 years. She also loved to help others who were in need.  She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Her Family… Irene will be missed by her husband, George Dudek; her children, Lynn Dudek, Darlene (Dan) Bower, Rene (Steve) Woody, Valerie ( Michael) Rutkowski, Patricia (Paul) Orr, George M. Dudek; 11 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren.

Her Farewell… Irene’s family and friends will gather on Tuesday, November 1, 2022 from 4:00pm until time of service at 6:00pm with the rosary at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Shelters Chapel, Pinckney, Michigan.
