Her Legacy… Isabell “Izzy” Marie Fransway, 67, passed away October 17, 2023.  She was born on October 27, 1955, in Houston, Texas to David Harrington Sr. and Priscilla “Penny” (Fleming) Harrington. Izzy married the love of her life, Paul Fransway, on September 2, 1978, in Houston, Texas. Izzy was incredibly dedicated to her faith and taught faith formation to countless children over many years. She had a sweet and kind disposition and brightened the days of all around her. Izzy was very creative and loved to sew and bake. She was a scout leader in her daughter’s Girl Scout troop and enjoyed it so much that she continued to be a leader even after her daughter had aged out of it. Izzy was an absolute joy to know and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Her Family… Izzy will be missed by her husband, Paul Fransway; her children, Michelle (Justin) Fransway, Tracy (Troy) Braman, Nichole (John) Morence; father, David Harrington Sr.; brother, David (Paula) Harrington Jr.; grandchildren, Dylan (Paige) Badyna, Erik Janssen, Brianne Janssen, Daniel Badyna, Faith Janssen, Jameson Shafer; great grandchildren, Dean Badyna, Jaimee Badyna; niece, Lindsay Heide; and nephew, John Harrington. She is preceded in death by her mother, Penny Harrington.

Her Farewell… Izzy’s family and friends will gather Tuesday, October 24, 2023, from 3:00PM-8:00PM at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Hamburg Chapel in Hamburg, Michigan. A recitation of the Rosary will take place at 7PM by Deacon Pat McDonald. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at 10:30AM (9:30AM gathering) at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Brighton, Michigan.  Father Mathias Thelen will serve as celebrant.
