His Legacy…John Edward McAllen, 72, passed away August 29, 2021.  He was born on January 23, 1949, in Detroit, Michigan to Thomas McAllen and Delphine (Dixon) McAllen. Jack married the love of his life of 50 years, Gail Anne (Grimm) McAllen, on August 28, 1971, in Rochester, Michigan.  Jack will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, son and brother.  He enjoyed golfing, fishing, hunting and especially spending time with his grandchildren and attending their sports activities.  Jack was the first person his friends and family would call for advice or help.  He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.  

His Family… Jack will be missed by his wife, Gail McAllen; his children, Kelly Perry, Molly (Tim) Emmitt; siblings, Mary (Paul Beckwith) Robson, Thomas McAllen, Christine McAllen, Patrick (Joyce) McAllen, Delphine (John) Dezelski, Jane (Greg) Miller; grandchildren, Madison, Maya, Jackson, Tessa, Lucas, Ian. He is preceded in death by his parents; Thomas and Delphine McAllen.

His Farewell… Jack’s family and friends will gather on Thursday, September 2, 2021, from 4:00-8:00pm (Rosary at 6:00pm) at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Hamburg Chapel. His Community Farewell will be held on Friday, September 3, 2021, at 11:00am (10:00am gathering) at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 9565 Musch Road, Brighton, Michigan. Father John Rocus will serve as celebrant.
