Jacqueline Blonde Obituary

Her Legacy… Jacqueline Susan Blonde, 85, passed away March 22, 2020.  She was born on May 27, 1934, in Pontiac, Michigan to Douglas Gilbert Menzel and Evelyn Dorothy (Faulman) Menzel. Jackie married the love of her life, Gordon James Blonde, on September 17, 1955, in Pontiac, Michigan. A woman of great faith and love, she will be remembered as a true inspiration to everyone who she ever crossed paths with.  Jackie taught us all the true meaning of loving others. She valued everyone and opened her house to everybody. Jackie and her husband Gordon crafted a log home for their family and together they made it a loving haven for their family that extended out to anyone they knew.  Jackie dedicated her life to caring for people and was a registered nurse for many years till retirement.  She also was a lifelong learner and truly enjoyed life.  Jackie was the best wife, mother, and grandmother.  The pure joy she got from her grandchildren was immense.  She is going to be a forever memory to many and will never be forgotten of the positive influence she gave.

Her Family… Jackie will be missed by her children, Karen (Mike) Hagen, Rick (Anne) Blonde, and Cheryl (Randy) Ankenbauer; grandchildren, Brett (Paige), Kristin, Kyle, Kate, Rachel, and Beth. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Gordon James Blonde; parents, Douglas and Evelyn Menzel; and brother, Richard Menzel.
