Jacquelyn Ronowski Obituary

Her Legacy… Jacquelyn Ronowski, 88, passed away February 6, 2026.  She was born on May 11, 1937, in Detroit, Michigan to Raymond and Bernice (Sosnowski) Orzechowski. Jackie married the love of her life, James Ronowski, on February 23, 1957 in Detroit. She will be remembered as a compassionate woman with a good sense of humor who was a strong advocate for those less fortunate. Jackie’s strong will and loyalty served her well when caring for others. She took great pride in the gardens around her home, especially cultivating and admiring her flowers. Jackie also enjoyed bowling, bingo, reading romance novels, and even pursued belly dancing. She also took pride in bookkeeping through the years, and found a new career for several decades into her 80s after James passed with clerical work in the real estate field.

Her Family… Jackie will be missed by her daughter, Linda (Keith) Nowak, son, David (Lisa) Ronowski, son Kenneth Ronowski; sister, Sharon (Robert) Moffa; grandchildren, April, Derrick, Natalie, Allen, Ryan, Shannon, Ella, Logan; great grandchildren, Avery, Emery, Rylee, Rowen, Claire, and Henry. She is preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Bernice; her husband, James Ronowski; sons, Thomas and Daniel Ronowski; and grandson, Jimmy Ronowski.

Her Farewell… Memorial contributions are suggested to the National Kidney Foundation.  Please leave a message of comfort for Jackie’s family at 1-877-231-7900, or sign her guestbook at www.borekjennings.com.
