His Legacy…James Edward Allen, 53, passed away November 17, 2025. He was born on December 9, 1971, in Ann Arbor, Michigan to Edward Allen and Peble (Dockett) Allen. Jim had a great presence, and you always heard him before you saw him. He enjoyed playing darts, pool and cornhole. He had a love for Metallica and heavy metal music. Jim was a year-round Halloween enthusiast, and kept his home decorated all year long. He was really into building model cars, and his fish tanks. Jim loved building things and doing home projects and was very detail oriented. In the summer months, you could find him outside enjoying the lake, sitting by the bonfire, or riding on a dirt bike or 4-wheeler. He especially loved being on the boat with his dad, Ed Allen, sharing laughs, stories and drinks together. When winter came you could often find him playing video games. Jim loved to bake and he thoroughly enjoyed his step-father, Mike’s BBQ. In his later years, he enjoyed gardening and planting flowers. Jim was on dialysis the last few years of his life but he always stayed positive and cheerful. Jim was dearly loved by his family and friends and will be greatly missed.
