His Legacy… James Carleton Olbrich, 65, passed away October 10, 2020. He was born on April 7, 1955, in Belvidere, Illinois to Emil Jacob Olbrich and Mary Jo (Merchant) Olbrich. James married Kathleen Sharon (Kay) Olbrich, on February 20, 2016, in Livonia, Michigan. He will be remembered as a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. James lived his life always being optimistic and happy. He was a guitarist extraordinaire and had a sense of humor that would always make everyone laugh. James had unwavering faith in Jesus as his Lord and Savior and was a true disciple to him. He will be missed deeply.
His Family…James will be missed by his wife, Kathleen Olbrich; his children, Geoffrey (Jenefer) Igarashi, Steven (Sarah) Hoskins, Amy (Garrett) Speeter, Christopher (Jennifer) Hoskins, Jeffrey (Lauren) Hoskins, Erin (Danny) Davis; 5 siblings; 15 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his first wife, Sally (Bolen) Olbrich; parents, Emil and Mary Jo Olbrich.
His Farewell… James’s family and friends will gather for a memorial service on Saturday, October 24, 2020 at 2:00pm at Sonrise Assembly of God Church, 1130 W. Highland Road, Howell, Michigan.
