James Willliam Osborne

His Legacy…James William Osborne, 72, passed away June 06, 2021.  He was born on September 22, 1948, in Pigeon, Michigan to Robert Osborne and Lorna (Hofmeister) Smith. Jim married the love of his life, Gail Clark, on January 18, 1992, in Waterford, Michigan. Jim was a Youth Specialist at W.J. Maxey Training School, retiring after 22 years. After retirement, he worked as a substitute teacher for Livingston County Schools. Jim will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather. 

His Family… Jim will be missed by his wife, Gail Osborne; his children, Shane (Kelly Franks) Osborne, Bryan (Sabrina) Tankka, Angela (Rob Wyrembelski) Osborne, Stacey (Sean) Myint, and Casey Tankka; grandchildren, Jacob Osborne, Jenessa Osborne, Allie Osborne, Kyle Osborne, Tyler (Jessica) Tankka, Trever Tankka, Annamarie Myint, and Sean Myint Jr. He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert Osborne and Lorna Smith. 

His Farewell…Jim’s family and friends will gather Friday, June 11 from 4:00-8:00 PM at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Hamburg Chapel, Michigan.  His Community Farewell will be held on Saturday, June 12 at 10:00 AM at the Church of the Nazarene, 7669 Brighton Road, Brighton, Michigan, with a gathering beginning at 9:00 AM until time of service.  Pastor Timothy Pepper will serve as celebrant.  A celebration of Jim’s life will be held on Saturday, June 12 at 1:00pm at the home of Jim & Gail Osborne.
