His Legacy…James Charles Pine, age 73, passed away at his home on May 20, 2021. He was born on October 26, 1947, in Ann Arbor, Michigan to James Steven and Patricia (Bycraft) Pine. On August 2, 2006 he married Linda Gyori in Las Vegas, Nevada. James and Linda were married until the time of his passing.
His Family…James will be missed by his wife Linda; his children, Jamie (Tammy) Pine, Beth (Jacob) Stodart and his five step-children, James (Monica) Park, Kristin Klann, and Jill (Steve) Wizgird; his three grandchildren, Devon and Lindsey Pine, Madison Stodart; his five step-grandchildren, Matthew and Alecia Klann, Joshua Bates and Alexis and Dominic Wizgird will miss him tremendously. Additionally, James leaves behind brothers and sisters, John (Virginia) Pine, Ann Pine, Mary Pine and Bradley Pine. James is preceded in death by Joseph Allen Pine, James Steven Pine, and Patricia Ann Pine.
James worked as an electrician for IBEW Local 252 for forty-three years and was known for his expertise in the field. James took pride in coaching many years of baseball and softball for his children Jamie and Beth. He enjoyed spending his free time fishing, hunting and spending time up north with his son, Jamie and daughter-in law, Tammy. James enjoyed planting and growing flowers as well as cooking. He also enjoyed many special vacations with his wife Linda, specifically, Alaska. James was a devoted grandpa and his grandchildren were his pride and joy- he was a grandpa above all else.
His Farewell…James’ Friends and Family Gathering will be held on Wednesday, June 2, 2021, from 12:00-1:00 PM at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Hamburg Chapel. James’ Community Farewell will be held June 2, 2021 at 1:00 PM. Memorial contributions are suggested to Arbor Hospice.
