His Legacy…James Bruce Rayner, 90, passed away Wednesday, September 15, 2021.  He was born on June 20, 1931, in Detroit, Michigan to Frank Bruce Rayner and Dorothy (Rich) Rayner. James married his love of 40 years, Beverly (Slapshak) Rayner, on February 21, 1987 in Northville, Michigan.  James will be remembered as quiet and dignified, a great father and an adventurous man. James and his wife Beverly enjoyed traveling to 15 different islands in the Caribbean, Hawaii, Europe and many more beautiful places. James and Beverly kept a home in Florida where they enjoyed time with great friends. James also loved Broadway shows, opera, and museums. James will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

His Family… James will be missed by his wife, Beverly Rayner; his children, Terrie Sue (Jerry) Gregory and Kim(Mark)Watroba; stepchildren, Danny Joslin, Gwen Joslin, Debra (Karl) Kling; Brother, Jack(Carolyn) Rayner, of Mississippi; grandchildren, Christopher, Jennifer, Brooke, Brian, Kevin, Hayden, Dawson and Ethan. He is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Dorothy Rayner and brothers, Donald Rayner of Maine, Bryce Rayner of Michigan.
