Janalee Marie (Martin) Walker

Her Legacy… Janalee Marie Walker, age 55, passed away May 28, 2023 at her home in Fowlerville, MI after her battle with cancer. She was born on May 8, 1968 to Eurbin “Sonny” Walker and Sherry (Merritt) Martin in Jackson, MI and later adopted by Michael Martin. Janalee grew up in Jackson, MI and moved in high school to Niles High School in 1986. She married Jack Walker on July 27, 2014 at Rivertree Community Church in Jackson, MI. Janalee’s faith was really important to her. She was a member of Rivertree Community Church in Jackson, MI. Janalee attended regularly until she got too sick to make the drive. She would then watch online and attended when able. In her spare time, Janalee helped out at craft and vender shows. She also liked riding motorcycles. Most of all, Janalee loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, and church family. Janalee will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Her Family… Janalee is survived by her husband, Jack Walker; son, Wayne Martin; stepchildren, Vanessa (Dan) Walker, Brittney Walker, Zachary Walker; grandchildren, Xavier Walker, Alexis Martin, Treshawn Walker, Tiffany Jones, Isaac Martin, Zeke Walker, Dexter Jones, Zuri Walker, and Josiah Sky Walker; parents, Michael and Sherry Martin; stepmom, Joy Walker; siblings, Lori (Don) Smith, Angela Martin, Eric (Shannon) Walker, Bradford (Stacee) Walker, Dustin (Maggie) Walker; sister-in-law, Kaye Martin; 17 nieces and nephews; and 14 great nieces and great nephews. Janalee was preceded in death by her biological father, Eurbin Walker; brother, Wayne M. Martin; grandson, Zander Greenhoe; and grandparents, Eugene (Lillian) Merritt and Andrew (Faith) Martin.

Her Farewell… A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, June 17 at 12 PM at Rivertree Community Church, 3113 Lansing Ave. Jackson Michigan 49202.
