Jason David Hines

His Legacy… Jason David Hines, 46, passed away February 1, 2021. He was born on December 29, 1974, in Jackson, Michigan to Richard and Dorothy (Dow) Hines. Jason was engaged to be married to his fiancée, Josephine Herren. He was a CNC Machinist and Programmer, that was highly valued by his employers and coworkers, because he could often figure out what was going on with the machines, even when others could not. Jason was proud to be able to fix problems. In his free time, Jason spent time remodeling his own home. He also loved to be outside, going camping and kayaking. Jason loved to travel, and particularly loved going to Cedar Pointe. You could often find Jason, kicking back, enjoying a beer, while he spent time with friends and family.

His Family… Jason is survived by his fiancée, Josephine Herren; his children, Chase Messner, Jason Hines II, Macie Herren-Thomas, Mattison Herren-Thomas; his siblings, Darin (Cathy) Hines, Justin (Kari) Wagner; and many nieces, and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, grandparents; and close mother-figure, Shirley Sicotte.  

His Farewell… Jason’s family and friends will gather on Saturday, February 13, 2021 at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Howell Chapel for a Public Community Gathering from 1:00pm until the time of his Farewell Service at 2pm.
