Jean (Jezierski) Andrews

Her Legacy… Jean Andrews, age 85, passed away April 17, 2021. She was born on October 5, 1935 in Detroit, MI to Adam and Josephine (Jasieniecki) Jezierski. Jean married the love of her life, Ronald Andrews, on January 14, 1956 in Detroit, MI. She enjoyed working with kids at a Montessori school. Jean helped with 5K and 10K races. She liked watching the Detroit Tigers, hockey, local plays, soap operas, and the Mill Pond concerts. Jean enjoyed eating ice cream and baking German chocolate cake. Most of all, Jean loved spending time with her family. She will be remembered as a loving and nurturing mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Her Family… Jean leaves behind her children, Kimberly (Ernie) Peters, Kevin Andrews, Curtis (Rachel) Andrews, and Michele Andrews; grandchildren, Veronica Peters, Ernest (Amanda) Peters, Joe Peters, Kory Andrews, Devon Andrews, Adam Andrews, Airanne Abreau, Brielle Abreau, AJ Abreau, Ava Abreau; and great granddaughter, Ingrid. She is preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Ronald.

Her Farewell… Jean’s Community Farewell will be held on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at (2PM gathering) 3PM with a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 711 Ricket Road, Brighton, MI. Father Joseph Campbell will serve as celebrant. She will be laid to rest at St. Hedwig Cemetery in Dearborn Heights, MI. Memorial contributions are suggested to Compassus Hospice.
