Her Legacy…Jennie Domurat, 94, passed away November 23, 2020. She was born on December 27, 1925, in Hamtramck, Michigan to Stanley Osinski and Mary (Anielak) Osinski. Jennie married the love of her life, Fred Domurat, on October 8, 1949, in Hamtramck, Michigan. Jennie was passionate about her various roles as a nurse; her passion for helping others and lifting spirits showed in everything she did. She loved spending time with her family and was well-known for her chicken noodle soup whenever her children or grandchildren fell sick. Forever an optimist, her laugh and smile were infectious, and she lit up any room she walked in. She was usually seen with a glass of wine in her hand while telling light-hearted stories and singing the University of Michigan’s, “I Want To Go Back to Michigan” song.
Her Family… Jennie will be missed by her children, Marcia (Greg) Jablonski, Amy (Mark) Zadorozny, Paul Domurat, and Douglas (Pen) Domurat; grandchildren Ben Jablonski, Carly Domurat, McKenna Domurat, Lauren Domurat, Chase Domurat, Dion Domuart, Chris Zadorozny and Jessica Zadorozny. She is preceded in death by her parents Stanley and Mary (Anielak) Osinski, beloved husband Fred Domurat, two brothers and three sisters.
Her Farewell… Jennie’s family will gather privately for her farewell at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Hamburg Chapel. In the future there will be a community farewell.
