His Legacy… Gerald Willis Beach, age 80, passed away December 27, 2022. He was born on June 13, 1942, in Pontiac, Michigan to Willis Beach and Velma (Saytos) Beach. Jerry married Marlene Rule on July 24 1982, in Brighton, MI. Jerry had many hobbies, including metal detecting, reading, swimming, hiking, and visiting historic attractions. He also enjoyed telling jokes and stories, classical and country music, and playing board games. He served in the Navy as shore patrol and, after retiring, served as a police officer.

His Family… Jerry will be missed by his wife, Marlene; his children, Tina Hassan (Curt), Tiffany Thornberry (Chris), David Bishop (Amber); siblings, Donald Beach; grandchildren Shannan Hymes (Mark), Jenna Mott (Aaron), Kaitlyn Hassan (Daniel), Talina Bishop, David Bishop III, Olivia Bungardas; great grandchildren Lillianna & Sienna Friedman, Paisley Dellinger; many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and nephew, Nathan Beach.

His Farewell… Jerry will be laid to rest at Great Lakes National Cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested to Police Officers Association of Michigan, Veterans Affairs or St. Jude.
