His Legacy… Jerry Dale Brown, 79, passed away November 17, 2021. He was born on November 25, 1941, in Weiner, Arkansas to Joe and Bernice (Miller) Brown. Jerry married the love of his life, Diane (Hawley) Smith-Brown, on June 6, 2014, in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was a proud member of the UAW Local #599. For 30 years, Jerry worked for Buick in the Flint plant. When he wasn't working, Jerry enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing golf, watching sports on T.V., checking the stock market channel, and working in his yard and garden. Most important to Jerry, was spending time with his family, especially with his grandchildren. He will be remembered as a loving husband, dear father, and beloved grandfather.

His Family… Jerry will be missed by his wife, Diane Brown; his children, Brian Brown, Daniel (Allison) Brown; Siblings, Donna Williams, Wilma Petras, Rita (Don) Stephens, Peggy (Steve) Shinall, Kirby Brown, Ted (Lois) Brown, Tim (Pam) Brown; Grandchildren, Austin, Mitchell, Morgan, Cole, Hailey, Kendra, Collin; Great Grandchildren, Maliek, Isaiah, Isabella, Sophie; and many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Bernice and Joe Brown; siblings, Joe Brown, and Zelda Burnett.

His Farewell… His Farewell Jerry's family and friends will gather on November 23 from 2:00pm to 8:00pm at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Lamb Chapel in Howell, Michigan. His Community Farewell will be held on November 24, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Sonrise Church on M-59 in Howell, Michigan. Pastor Jeff Blagg and Rev. Martin Dzuris will serve as celebrants. Memorial contributions are suggested to True Vine Revealed (Step-daughter Katrina Dzuris's Czech Republic Missionary Charity) or New Light Child & Family Center and Foster Care.
