Her Legacy… Jill Evenson Davies, 85, passed away March 28, 2024.  She was born on June 16, 1938, in Detroit, Michigan to Robert Peddie and Harriet (Evenson) Peddie. Jill married the love of her life, Charles Davies, on December 6, 1975, in Dearborn, Michigan. Jill was a dedicated teacher for 40 years at Bedford Elementary School in Dearborn, Michigan. She was kind, loving and caring; the type of teacher that you would remember from childhood. Jill always thought of others before herself. She loved the fine arts and classical music. Jill was an animal lover and had 6 Irish Setters throughout her life. She was an avid reader and enjoyed doing puzzles and boating at her family’s cottage on the lake. Jill adored her grandchildren and loved spending time with them. She was dearly loved by her family and friends and will be greatly missed.

Her Family… Jill will be missed by her husband, Charles Davies; her children, Lee Ann Mulligan, Lorie (Keith) Goodale, Jane (John) Culp, Jim (Shawnie) Davies; grandchildren, Jacob (Abbi), Kevin (Haley), Benjamin (Allison), Amanda (Mike), Lindsay (John), Zachary, Patti (Ryan), Adam, Lydia; great grandchildren, Olin, Mayleigh, Landen, and McKenna; friend and caregiver, Lisa. She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Harriet Peddie; and sister, Nancy Bower.
