JoAnn M. Shelden, 69 years of age, died at her residence, Norton Group Home where she lived for 40 years. She was well cared for by all the staff over the years. Four of her favorites were Lynn and her husband Bill, Michelle (Shel), along with Kim and Elaine. JoAnn was born in Ann Arbor, Michigan on January 14, 1955, the daughter of Fred and Elline Shelden. JoAnn loved playing records, watching movies (especially Shrek), beaded necklaces, all things Christmas, coffee and chocolate.

JoAnn is survived by her sister-in-law Bonnie Shelden; nieces, Carrie Shelden and Amy Shelden; 6 cousins; and the caring staff at Norton Group Home. She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Elline Shelden; brothers, Mike and Billy; and sister, Kathy.
